My week’s edit of what’s going on in my life, things that have inspired me and the books I'm reading.

In today's world it's so easy to get distracted by the latest trends, what's going on in the market and all the ideas you might have. Over the last few months I've been working on narrowing down my focus and it's working wonders, I have much more time to spend on what matters and making a real difference to my business. I’m going to write a blogpost sharing my top tips.

I was inspired by the genius that is the virtual Fisher Price toy museum. To celebrate their 90th birthday they have launched a dedicated instagram account, building on customers nostalgia. I love it it's really fun and engaging, do you have a favourite toy here?

I've been listening to the Essentialism podcast and loving it (anyone who knows me, know I love the book!) The latest episode I listened to, was the author Greg McKeown chatting to his wife Anna, and they were talking about how important their daily walks were. I try and go on daily walks and so do most of my team. Finding it clears my head and helps me think, and where most of my creative problem solving happens. Katy from Creative Boom posted recently on Twitter about this old article from the Guardian about the benefits of walking, for a healthier, happier and brainer life

And finally this week I'm reading Time to Think by Nancy Kline, which is all about creating the perfect thinking environment. It's something I try and do with my team, but am learning lots of great tips, the best advice that I've read so far is to properly listen.

Thanks for reading, I would love to now what you think.
