Judy Andrews is an artist who inspires, motivates and empowers through her art and blog.

“My aim is always to inspire and empower through creativity, to make people smile, think and believe that anything is possible”

which is probably something we all need right about now!

Her art is bold, colourful, graphic and optimistic usually featuring hand drawn typography or Judy’s signature ‘retromodern’ geometric type. Colour and pattern is an obsession too and her work reflects many of the things we all think about... encouraging us to take the step, make the change, ‘stop fucking scrolling’, or to feel the fear and do it anyway.

That’s something Judy has done throughout her own life and career as a creative director, artist, business owner and mum – taking a leap of faith after the birth of her son in 2015 to focus on her art and in 2017 begin freelancing, which led to founding global brand and design agency, Tickety Boo Creative.

Let’s just say Judy never does things by halves!

Her commercial branding and design experience spans 20 years creating for brands big and small, specialising in the retail sector, helping brands like Superdrug, Tesco, H.Samuel and Harrods to name a few.

Judy loves to experiment, collaborate and has created work with the likes of Blogtacular, Indie Roller, Sketch Appeal, Caboodle Magazine and Most Curious Wedding Fair.

In Spring 2022 Judy is also launching her first magazine, Joy of Type – it blends art, type, design & positivity while sharing the work and stories of the creators. She hopes it will bring joy to everyone who reads it.
